I previously owned two grooming salons in St. Petersburg, Florida, before moving to the beautiful mountains of Rabun County with my two boxers and a sassy little Chihuahua. As a wife of 11 years and a mother of two beautiful girls, I found my passion for grooming 8 years ago. I most enjoy seeing the transformation of pets while in my care. With a French Bulldog, Pomeranian, Corgi, and Golden Doodle at home, my love for animals has made me a more detail oriented and compassionate groomer. Nancy spent her life doing what she loves the most transforming our four-legged friends into the beautiful companions. We love now with over 40 years of experience Nancy offers the finest care and professional skill to you and your pet when asked what she enjoys most about her job she says it's rewarding to see how dogs feel after their groomed and pampered and I love being able to work with dogs each day when she's not grooming dogs Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family hiking are beautiful mountain reading and doing leatherwork.

Cary Simpson is a trusted name in the animal care industry with 33+ years of experience. Married to Greg Simpson for 24 years, she is a Tennessee native who was an AKC dog show professional handler for over 20 years and built a successful grooming business in Kentucky for more than two decades.

Throughout her career, Cary has raised and shown Samoyeds, Border Terriers, Portuguese Water Dogs, and Scottish Deerhounds. Her love for animals extends beyond her profession, and she is also an avid horseback rider and hiker who enjoys spending time outdoors.

She has proudly dedicated the past six years to Claws and Paws, serving four years under the previous ownership and the last two years under the current owners. Known for her caring nature and strong work ethic, Brittany goes above and beyond to create a welcoming, organized environment for every customer and their pets. She generously volunteers her personal time to support the store’s success and believes every pet deserves exceptional care and every customer deserves outstanding service, greeting each visitor with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm.
